I’m building a special AC generator that will have induced current running at 60 Hz. I was wondering, I’m trying desperately to reduce eddy currents (another member on here suggested Ferrite material). Another thing is hysteresis loss… Any material out there that has high magnetic permeability, as well as low hysteresis and eddy losses?

I think there is a reason that laminated "electrical steel" is almost universal in motors and generators. You might read the article at the link below, it mentions some options for better performance (at a higher cost of course)
