This video completes the three video series showing how XNOTE STOPWATCH software, coupled with external control devices and switching, will be used for precision testing of various rotor magnet layouts. The next video in the Pipe Dream series will describe a new and improved rotor magnet layout, and will show a live elapsed time test of the layout, using both the start/stop function for overall elapsed time, and the snap function to determine the elapsed time intervals for each grouping section of the rotor magnets. There are six grouping sections in the new layout, so there will be six snaps shown in the test results. Each snap can be thought of as a snapshot of time, and the time intervals between the snaps will provide very useful information. It will help to determine not only improvements or detriments caused by magnet layout changes, but also will tell us if each grouping section is accelerating or slowing the rotation, and by how much.
