Several people have asked me how I make up the steel plates which are mounted to the birch plywood flywheel of the prototype, so I thought I would make this video to show how it is done. Nothing fancy, and no special tools required. The idea is to keep things simple so that anyone can do this and save the expense of a machine shop making up parts.

Being me I would have cut one and drawn around itm using it as a template for all the others

@gazzaka Yes, that’s another way to do it. It’s just that the cutting doesn’t go perfectly, so with the first one being a bit off the scribe lines, the second and successive ones would tend to be further off. Scribing each one only takes a minute, and ensures the best results.
